A MoMo Italy eSIM is a digital SIM that gives your phone mobile data in Italy without swapping your physical SIM. You choose a plan, pay online, and receive the eSIM by email with a QR code to scan.
The eSIM connects to Italian mobile networks, so you can navigate, message and browse from the moment you arrive. Plans include a fixed amount of data, or unlimited data, for a set number of days.

How much data do I need in Italy?
Light use
For maps, messaging and light browsing around the cities, 1 to 3 GB for one to two weeks is usually enough.
Normal travel use
For daily social media, email, browsing and navigation, a 5 to 10 GB plan for two weeks is a comfortable choice for most trips.
Heavy use
For streaming, regular photo uploads or sharing the connection with a laptop, a 20 GB or larger plan, or an unlimited plan, is a better fit.

Receive your eSIM
After payment you receive an email with your eSIM QR code and a manual installation code.

Install it
Scan the QR code with your phone (Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM on iPhone, or Settings > Network/SIM on most Android phones).

Enable mobile data
Select the eSIM as your data line and turn on data roaming for it.

Connect to the local network
When you arrive, the eSIM connects to a supported local network automatically.
